Hi There!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing a slice of what makes me tick. This website is all about sharing delicious recipes that at their core are wonderfully nourishing and satisfying. The recipes that I share with you are also designed to cater for those of you with digestive issues and food intolerances, though my primary focus is to always ensure that enjoyment and taste is number one! This website is also a place where you will be inundated with the tahini peanut butter addict, foodie obsessed photographer that is me!

  • Oooo la la! Sunday evening quiche! This was sublime...Silverbeet (picked from the garden), bacon & nut cheese (mums homemade stuff), loads of eggs fresh from the chickens all held by the glorious @maggie_beer’s gluten free pastry.
  • Sardine Smash! This is one of my favourite recipes for boosting clients nutritional intake, in particular their zinc, protein, calcium and essential fatty acids! Sardines pack a punch when it comes to nutrition and I’d ask you to try this recipe before passing on them! Here the sardines are mashed with lemons, mint and artichokes to cut through the fishy flavour and complement it perfectly! Find the recipe on the website, just search ‘sardines’ 🐟 ❤️ in the 🔍

  • NEW RECIPE! Who said you can't eat a good pie with food intolerances!? This Apple Pie is gluten and dairy free and is filled with gut restorative stewed apples laced with spices. Make it this weekend! Recipe link in my bio. 🍏 Pastry adapted from the one and only @maggie_beer
  • Treat your skin conditions at the JCN Clinic!

At The JCN Clinic we see common skin conditions like acne, dermatitis, eczema, yeast & bacterial infections, rashes and more on a regular basis. Their regularity doesn’t make them less painful for those who suffer from them, if anything more frustrating as they can tend to be brushed aside as ‘just acne’ or ‘just eczema’. For us at JCN that’s just not good enough!
Skin conditions are multifactorial! When it comes to causes there is not always just ONE trigger. Usually there is an array of contributing factors, presenting at its ‘core’ with an underlying gut based issue that compounds and effects our livers daily detoxification load.
Some of the common cause we see at JCN are food intolerances, dysbiosis, SIBO, yeast overgrowth and gut permeability issues all leading to an increased liver load creating poor detoxification as a result. Don’t forget our skin is an organ and our largest detoxification organ at that! It covers the entirety of our body excreting on a daily basis.
Other triggers often compounding include hormonal imbalances and poor lymphatic flow alongside external triggers from our environment, inclusive of stress.
In my current live with @paigelredford we discuss treatment options at JCN and how we can help you!
From working on improving gut health that helps us take the load of the liver thus supporting detoxification through to dietary advise and the use of @paigelredford herbal treatments..we chat over the ins and outs!
For more info, or to make a booking & come see us at JCN email 📧 us on reception@jessicacox.com.au. PLUS!!! As a Christmas offer we are offering 15% an initial booking before Christmas with @paigelredford and @feed_your_happiness for anyone who watches the live or reads this post. Simple just mention this live/post in online bookings or when you email/call us.
  • I’m. So. FULL. Sometimes the taste buds when when it comes to homemade pizza! This is @jowhitton’s gluten free pizza dough base, then topped w passata, prosciutto, capers, oregano, basil & ✌🏻 cheese toppings. One is @gaildenisecoxceramics homemade nut cheese (some random recipe off Pinterest apparently) and the other side w sheep feta & cheddar. See more of the toppings we made in my Instagram stories! 👏🏻 🍕
