Northey Street Organic Markets are held every Sunday from 6:30am – 10:30am in Downey Park car park on Northey Street in Windsor.
The markets offer a diverse range of organic fruit and vegetable produce. Many stalls are selling produce straight from the grower which means fantastic and competitive prices. Better still, the people selling fresh fruit and vegetables are passionate about their produce, which means as a consumer there is an abundance of prime quality foods to choose from.
The community feel at the markets is something that has to be experienced. Growers and stall operators are a fountain of knowledge and are more than happy to share this with you. Whilst most stalls offer fruit and vegetables, the markets are growing and there is now on offer organic meats, vegan desserts and pizzas, healthy snacks and fresh juices and smoothies.
If you can find the time on your Sunday morning to visit Northey Street Markets you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you take along your own green bags as there are no plastic bags on offer. Either enjoy a relaxing smoothie as you wonder the markets, or stock up for a beautiful home cooked Sunday breakfast on your return home, such as organic pan fried swiss brown mushrooms with avocado on organic sourdough…
