tammy shemesh, clinical nutritionist

Tammy Shemesh is a Clinical Nutritionist and Eating Psychology Coach specialising in chronic gut health and microbiome-driven conditions. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine and is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA). Tammy works with complex, long-standing digestive issues, recognising the critical connection between gut health, hormone regulation, and reproductive function. Her areas of focus include chronic digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, fertility support (Tammy is a Certified Fertility Nutritionist) and restoring foundational health through targeted, evidence-informed nutrition.

Central to Tammy’s philosophy is the understanding that the nervous system, stress physiology and eating behaviours are deeply interconnected with hormonal and reproductive health. She integrates nervous system support and stress resilience strategies into her treatment plans, recognising that sustainable healing occurs when the body feels safe and well nourished.

Outside of the clinic, Tammy is a yoga and prenatal yoga teacher. She is an avid reader, forever with a stack of books on her bedside table. She deeply values slow mornings, meaningful conversations, and the simple rituals that bring warmth and connection to everyday life.

Tammy’s key areas of interests of clinical nutrition:
